TEARS OF YEARS

Rain falls down
As do my tears
After all these years

Falling from the stars
The small drops
Represent who we are

Time has been and passed
And the innocent have come to pass
But we're still here
Even after all these years...

Im done with crying over things I've lost
The ache , the pain its to great a loss.
Im closing my eyes and crossing my heart to say it's done , its finished ,
it's time we part.

THEM AND THEIR GUN

As i lie here,
with their gun to my head,
i wonder
how long til i'm dead
why don't they just pull the trigger,
you see the way i figure,
they can call it an accident,
as i made an escape attempt

Searching



You are always searching
searching for the one to make you whole

Smiling open

the earth to my water

when will the pain tear me apart

can I allow the fire to consume me just once?

Bared my soul now I find it gone trapped inside this shell not who I am just who I am forced to be

will I be able to go on when you leave

pain will be my weapon slashing you even as you think you have won

im just a crazy person you thought you loved no one important at all

when you escape look closely for your wounds

remember my smile and my laugh as they ring in your ears years from now I will just be a story you tell

Need

Into the coolness of the night clothes shed upon the ground
my skin clammy with sweat the fires burn within
always seeking hungering moving to be one with you
Will the ache ever cease ? The need ever go away?

I hope not it keeps me alive now living for your touch
upon my skin our sweat mingles as you move within me
never ending desire hungering for the sight of you
for the sound of your voice in my ear whispering

An End To Darkness

NINETY NINE AND ONE HUNDREDTH

All the staring
but no caring
we're standing around
while people are dying
plunging themselves to death
from the floors ninety nine and one hundredth

they're falling like a man without a chute
to carry them down to earth
screaming and shouting like a flute
to need a chance to rebirth
they need a mat to land

as they get closer
they become paralyzed
and to close their eyes
would throw them into a place lit dark

"well i'm not paralized" one shouted
as he fell
right from the top floor
but next you knew
he shouted "no, help me please"
but nothing we could do would help

we had watched from impact to collapse
the once Mighty and Proud Towers crumbled
around us their pieces let all fall
from great heights their tops did come
only a slow death
was all they could travel on...

Shry I love the idea of falling off a building! Great idea for a poem, you could even say..

The jumping was easy
