Regarding Shark

Some players ask me "why are the Vandals protecting [Shark]? Good question I guess. I met the leader of [Shark] the same way I met THE COMMONWEALTH (thats a long name...) and right off, just as with CW (thats shorter) I could tell that I was dealing with someone who cares about his members before anything else, therefore I granted him our protection. At the time they were much much smaller. I know that Wisky has a short temper, and is not skilled in diplomacy at all. I've heard about his rantings when a member of his is attacked, and hopefully that will not be an issue soon because he did start discussing a merger with {V}.

In my dealings with Wisky I have found him to be a good guild master, protective of his members and intelligent when it comes to who was right and wrong in a situation.

however, I have also delt with several of his members. let me just say that they have graduated with honors from this stupidity guild that is rumored to exsist in the alphaverse.

I have no ill will towards shark or its members. I understand that they are a small guild trying to make their way in the game. maybe someone should send an envoy to shark to help them learn a few things about base defense and how not to be a farm?

the strong should extend a reasonable amount of protection to the small, but that protection should also come in the for of advise, not just fleet. I'm not suggesting that vandels need to do this or anything, nor am I saying anything insulting to vandels. I'm just saying shark needs help.

We sent a slew of training materials to Shark at the begining, and from what I understand, someone from Jedi did as well. I hope that they use the material. They have cancled the merger with us as they feel that they will make it on their own. We will continue to protect them:)

I don't want anyone to missunderstand me when I talk about their leader. He's a nice guy, he just has alot to learn. He is a young leader, very inthuesiatic....and I cannot spell...

Anyhow, I'm just asking that you guys be patient with him, even if he loses his temper, I feel that we are looking at potentially one of the future greats here in alpha. His recruiting skills are good for a young guild, and he seems to be on the right page when it comes to leadership.
