she doesn't even tell you
she doesn't even like you
a bitch is all she is
take heed to my words
i know more than you, cos she's

yea i cannot say
it's all that they
will not relay
for it may
drive you insane

so I'm sorry my friend
now i must go
it's all that you need to know,
like the snow,
I'll melt away
and please don't be afraid,

for i will be near when you need,
but not now
now i am gone
gone off to be alone

FOR MY BABY

For my baby,
there is no maybe.
you are my love,
Like the dove,
so peacefully.

i need you here
right by my side
no need to fear,
my lovely dear
i will be here,

when you need not,
because i never forgot
my love for you..........

SATAN'S KNOCK

I hear the rhythmic tap of Satan on my door,
Do i answer?
no,
but he has taken over me,
so i answer and he takes me
Takes me to the fiery pit below
and says,
Welcome to Hell,
Your new home

THE HATE FOR EVIL PEOPLE

if i leave,
may you please,
never hate
my anxious wait,

on my return,
i will burn,
my lost pain,
away again.

ALONE

when you felt alone
you said you were cold
and chilled through to the bone,
then things turned from bad to worse
and i knew you would me soon to explode,
because your friend left in a hearse
then when you couldn't take the load
you went and broke
you left me wondering
When would i go?
because i felt so alone

Introduction


Over the past few years I had slipped in to a state of reasonable unfitness and thought I'd take up jogging to at least get out of bed earlier. On my second morning my mind came up with this. I'm not a poet, but I am still jogging.



Early Morning Jog
Each morning I go jogging thinking, "I'm as fit as in the past",
But the lungs aren't what they used to be, my esophagus is tighter than my arse.
So with every breath I strain and suck, and there's a pounding in my brain
Imagine what it's like to struggle to keep up with a granny and her
zimmer-frame.

The legs are getting weaker with every step I take,
And I push myself to the limits to keep the old lady in my wake.
I've really turned it on, "my God I've really pulled away!
There's no way that she'll catch me now", it's really made my day.

Clippety-clop! Clippety-clop! "Hey sonny", she's on my back again!
That crusty old lady, and now two friends, and of course their zimmer-frames
"Oh shit! They're at my shoulder", and they thought that they'd go passed
But then I coat hangered everyone of them, I could cause they weren't that fast.

So now my jogging's over and I start the long walk home,
But no bad deed goes unpunished, especially if you're walking home alone.
And those dear old crusty biddies, they ambushed me in the street,
And stuck those zimmer frames ... well now I can't go jog for weeks

LISTEN

If you would just listen
then my problems would be solved
if you would just listen
then there would be no reason to be sad, mad or bad
in this position it would seem
that many people have seen my seam
An if there was no reason to be sad, mad or bad
then maybe, you would just listen

HIS FAULT, HIS MISTAKES

on my knee's
i'll ask,
is there anyway of repairing,
what damage he has done

it's as i feared
Trails of Betrayal
He was here
Far away for far too long

i needed him to say,
what he would not ever
so i pray
for there to never
be this again

MARCHING THROUGH YOUR MARSH

if this is the way i am,
then why ruin it.
why destroy what i helped build
it's strictly a fit

scrutinise every word
that comes from my mouth
it's just as you heard
i'm gonna march
through the desert and marsh

for peace, hell yeah
All of it's raining down on us
maybe it's just god telling us
that we're to blame for our war
but not anymore

for we lead through the darkness
to the light at the end of the tunnel
we'll fight and march
on an on through you're marsh

Welcome to ground zero

of the vernacular revolution.

We're shedding light on silhouettes

and their contributions..

Such as (but not limited to):

Revenge,

er- i mean, Retribution,

Retaliation.

Illusions!..

of justice, seeping through the cracks.

Filling each-and-every lung to its brim.

(is this supposed to taste like oxygen?)

Wisps of hate escape with each syllable

re....re...re...

wind and check the pretense.

Ignore the charades in their defense, Yes..

it's true, these words were elected by Popular Vote.

Like the righteous lowlife bottom-feeders,

Smiling, Waving,

passing themselves off as leaders.

Although the verbage be switched,

We CANNOT let the meaning has missed.



And yes, i'll confess;

I wish i could fight more and cry less,

because this profit system is meaningless

if you don't stand for gain..

But everyone. i mean EVERYONE stands for change.

What is it to stand for change?

To stand for improvement?

Innovation?

Peace?...Loooove?

Embedded in all of these words is a sense of gain.

A sense that are better off after the fact.

That we should learn, and absorb,

like a child, like a sponge,

like a father teaches his son...

Like a student heeding words-

words combined creating meaning

Painted in my eyes.



And they say the greatest gift is to give,

so that another can receive.

But what if we perceive

each benefit as a detriment, and

the more we know,

the worse we feel,

can you tell me which one is real?

please, go ahead..

go ahead and try!

paint me a lesson that will change my mind.

Shry what poets are you into? I had the opportunity to take e few poetryclasses ( I'm a chem major haha) and would love to get some dialogue going regarding different poets and styles etc.. Throw somethin up on this topic and we can all take stabs at analyzing it or somethin yeah? Getty cnversations going is the best way to expand

ok so i'm going to keep using this forum to post things.. here is a funky dream i had and it turned into a poem.

Vision of Chance





walking through this sliced pepperoncini grove,

the smell evoking a hunger..

it’s taste exciting

each, bud,

with it’s sweet bite.

blinded by a curtain of smoke,

like the aimless wanderings of a thousand moths,

as each slice hits the heat of our fire.

fate, or circumstance,

visions of chance..

shifting,

from my eyes to yours..

Shifting,

The flames grow higher,

As if the world around us

holds our same sentiment.

As if the branches themselves

Beckon for our immediate

Union.

And as I pray for this to be fate

With all my reason,

Trying to justify the circumstance..

I know, as we both know,

That this is just another vision

of chance.

Stolen, i have written all of my poems on my own, i haven't taken any sort of classes, i just started writing one day

GIRL AT THE GRAVE

she early leaves a flower
down onto my gravestones
where they lay down a silent stare
that makes chills run down to all bones

then leaving in no starred style
she makes the feeling of her presence,
known to all her in their presence

again she came today
i felt her presence
by the silence that made tears loud
in that silence it made sense

Feeling so sad i rose again
but she saw me none
like i was gone again
still she stood there looking down on men
that rolled silently in their graves
feeling the presence of her
then came the stir in her silent teary save

AN ANGEL IN HEAVENS RAIN

an angel reaching for the sky
is it raining in heaven?
do you want us to cry?
For all of them

they have got the blues
from what was said
through teh news
they were made bleed
upon hearing of your death
for no need

A death for no gain

no one but the wonderful you..

haha yeah i actually wasted 2 years towards an english degree and finally decided that i can't make money with it, and i can ALWAYS write.. right?? i mean, williams carlos williams was a doctor his whole adult life AND an amazing poet.

who's the 'you' in 'an angel in heavens rain'? and are you playing on the word rain/reign as in a control sort of thing?

it reminds me of bruce cockburn's song justice that goes

as i glanced at my pants,
i could see, i was getting hard,
how could you leave undefended fleet your such a tard,
i sent out so many scouts,
i searched for so long,
your such a dong,
your not moving on,
so i attack,
from my jumpgate base,

i sent in my recs,
i cleaned up that mess,
i filled my queues,
and its all thanks to you,
