| what do people thing is the optimum amount of players in a guild.
some say a small amount of players, they have to be of high level and very active, but if a small guild has these qualities then surly a large guild with the same qualities would be even more kick ass,
a large amount of players should always allow members to be on at different times of day. speaking for us, if we had alot of players and a good jumpgate network then it would be hard for other guilds to hold occ's for long times | |

| well you know the limit is 250 players in a guild if there all active then brill yeah having alot can be good your network will be big but its getting everyone on for big ops is the question | |

| Will even with 250 players we would still have our squads so getting everyone on a big ops is not hard when a squad leader just has to get there 5-15 people on it,
But I would say somewhere around 100 or so max, after that to much talk on the board to follow, having a JG network would be nice but we would be using it everyday as we would have to be everywhere to support our players | |

| well we are at 90 again lol, when this war is over im gonna add another 10 peeps, and those that have been playing like 6 months and have an econ of 100 will be going
we have removed over 100 peeps form the guild, people who dotn fight, dotn build fast and dotn pm anyone or talk on the board are really not worth keeping, so we always remove(d) them | |

| i think a JG is a good idea. allows you to pick the cream of the crop, increase requoirements to get into the guild, and will increase avg fleet per person. | |

| I really don't care how large the guild is, I've always believed the more the merrier, but there is a point where the boards are flooded and information is lost or missed. but the guild's general board is really just for general chatting and not important guild operations. so going on that assumption, 250 players with millions of posts on the IM forum isn't a problem, IMO.
I think we should push to keep new blood flowing into the guild. players go inactive all the time and we should make sure that we have fresh troops to fill the ranks. a training guild is a waste of time, you can do all the training stuff here and players will be well protected and well informed of their position in the guild. I found than several players in AUSSIE had no idea what GB was!
it's my understanding that this site can create groups for its members to belong to, one group should be created for recruits and all training should be handled through that group.
that's about all I have for this thread. not everyone will stay in the game forever, or in this guild. new players are the future of the game and GB, we need to make sure that we have a fair reserve of new recruits at all times to ensure that GB will continue to grow and thrive. hook'm young on GB and they will perform the way we need them too when it matters. | |

| yeah, i read all the board but other peeps dotn have to, i just do it to see if any diplomatic issues come up, all important info is dotn through other means, flooded general board is no probs, i also like a busy board, nice for peeps to have someone to talk to, also, more players means, more chance of back up, more jumpgates, more chance of girls joining and showing us their boobies, i mean, err, showing us their pussies, no, no, errr, errr, i mean, showing us how they can play the game, i think, more the merrier | |

| shry i always talk to you!! and CW i appreciate you reading them all because if you didn't i would have pissed off alot of allies 'darn' i don't think GB is in a position where a TG would be worth it, maybe when req's can be +lvl40, 4 mill fleet,4kecon then it would be worth it. GB at the moment can't really make a TG that can survive against other TG's... but i think it's obvious the idea has worked for other guilds... | |

| large isn,t always good from what i have seen . you need a dedicated core group to run it all and i mean dedicated live and eat the game then you have the guys who want to be in a guild but are on once a weekend , you can loose the commrad ship of the guild when its large also and to me that leads to strife within the guild then all the more bullshit starts he said this and he said that now if the max is 250 i would say half of that tops for a guild i also like the training guild alot but again very hard to do and again a dedicated smaller group that gets along and does what they are expected to do teach !! build loyalty up for the main guild , everyone has to teach tho even in main guild have access to the teaching guild and go on the board over there talk to em get to know them
